The challenge

Made in England since 1924.

Wood Bros have made furniture in England since 1924: Old Charm oak cabinets, and upholstery built to order. The sofas and chairs come in tweeds, wools and leathers, with a choice of trim and wood finish. A range like that is hard to photograph.

The approach

Their upholstery, modelled in 3D.

Orbital Vision built the 3D models for the Wood Bros upholstery ranges. On the site, Configure opens the piece in 3D, where fabric, trim and wood finish are chosen on the model itself.

The outcome

New fabrics, added to the model.

Because the upholstery is already built, a new fabric or finish is added to the model rather than shot again. Shoppers see the exact combination they are ordering, priced as they build it.
