Cookie policy

Last updated 11 September 2026

You decide what’s optional

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies can read device information or record interactions. We keep Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity off until you expressly allow their category. Continuing to browse does not turn them on.

Open cookie settings to accept, reject or choose categories. “Deny optional” and “Accept all” are available on the first notice and in settings. Your choice applies to this website and browser, not to retailer websites or the separately operated app.orbital.vision service.

Cloudflare Turnstile is requested when you open the demo booking form if our booking service enables it. It checks browser signals to protect the requested form from bots. Cloudflare may use a clearance cookie, cf_clearance, if pre-clearance is enabled; its duration depends on that security configuration. It is not loaded for ordinary browsing by this site. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.

Analytics — optional

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) measures visits and page use. It receives cookie identifiers, browser/device information and approximate location. We do not send form field values or intentional customer identifiers to Google.

_gaDistinguishes browsersUp to 180 days
_ga_*Maintains analytics session informationUp to 180 days

These are first-party cookies. Browser restrictions may shorten their lifetimes. Advertising consent, ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled. Analytics is excluded from our contact, booking and legal pages. Page-view URLs sent by our code omit query strings and fragments. See Google’s cookie documentation and data retention information.

Experience & recordings — optional

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) produces heatmaps and session recordings to help us understand clicks, scrolling and usability. We mask the content of contact and booking forms. We do not load Clarity on contact, booking or legal pages, or on URLs containing query strings or fragments.

Clarity uses first-party _clck to recognise a browser across visits and _clsk to join page views into a session. Microsoft also documents third-party cookies CLID, MUID, MR, SM and ANONCHK; which are used depends on consent, browser restrictions and Microsoft’s configuration. We send advertising storage consent as denied.

Clarity’s first-party _clck cookie lasts up to one year and _clsk up to one day; _cltk in session storage lasts for the tab session. These are the defaults in Microsoft’s published client. Microsoft controls any third-party cookie lifetimes. Its cookie inventory explains these identifiers, and the Microsoft Privacy Statement explains storage and retention. Session recordings are normally retained for 30 days, while heatmaps and saved recordings are kept for up to nine months under Clarity’s current retention policy.

Changing or withdrawing consent

Use the “Cookies” button or “Cookie settings” in the footer. All optional switches start off for a new visitor. The settings panel shows when your current choice was saved. We ask again after 180 days or when we materially change the notice, purposes or providers.

When you turn an active service off, we stop it, remove its known first-party cookies and refresh this page to unload its code. Other open tabs on this site receive the updated choice where supported; we also re-check when a tab becomes visible. This does not delete data already held by a provider or cookies on other domains. Those can be managed through your browser and the provider’s privacy controls.

If your browser refuses to save our preference cookie, optional tracking stays off for that page and we explain that your choice could not be saved. With no saved choice, it remains off on subsequent page loads.

For our identity, lawful bases, international processing and your rights, read the privacy policy.
