Customer story
Orbital Vision / Selected workOrla Kiely
Signature prints.
Configured in 3D.
Made-to-order upholstery configured in 3D, so the fabric, scatter cushions and leg finish a shopper picks are the ones they see.
Services
- 3D configuration
- Shopify integration
- Fabric visualisation
- Range management

The challenge
A range built on pattern and colour.
Orla Kiely upholstery is made to order under licence by The Branded Furniture Company and hand-made in the UK. Five sofa ranges, chairs and footstools come in dozens of plain colourways, with the signature prints across the chairs, snugglers and stools. That is more combinations than a photoshoot can cover.

The approach
47 products, configurable in 3D.
Orbital Vision built the range as OV25 configurators and embedded them through its Shopify app. On 47 of the store's 49 products the configurator replaces the image gallery, so shoppers choose fabric, scatters and legs on the model itself.

The detail
Two fabrics. One piece.
Some pieces carry two fabrics: the Lily and Callan swivel chairs take a print on the outer back, the standalone stools a patterned top. Those pairings are built into the configurator as their own options.

Behind the storefront
One range. Kept in step.
The products sit with the manufacturer in OV25 and are shared to the Orla Kiely store, which carries its own pricing. When the range guide and price list were reissued for 2026, Orbital Vision brought the configurators into line with both.

The outcome
The whole range, live in 3D.
Sofas, corner groups, chaises, chairs and footstools, 47 products in all, are configurable in 3D. Shoppers see their exact combination before they order, and the configurators are kept in step with the range guide.
The difference
The range, in numbers.
